The Ministry of Commerce of Pakistan hosted an ISPO Networking Dinner in Munich
The Ministry of Commerce of Pakistan, the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan and the Pakistan Sports Goods Manufacture & Exporters Association in cooperation with the Embassy of Pakistan in Berlin and Honorary Consul Dr. Poetis organised an ISPO Networking Dinner on the occasion of the ISPO trade fair on 3rd February in Munich.
His Excellency Jauhar Saleem, Ambassador of Pakistan to Germany; Ulrich Konstantin Rieger, the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy; Klaus Dittrich, CEO Messe Munich; Robbert De Kock, President and CEO, World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI) and Ch. Muhammad Arshad, Chairman Pakistan Sports Goods Manufacturer & Exporters Association (PSGMEA) participated as a guest of honour in the event.
Mr. Rieger expressed compliments for Honorary Consul Dr. Poetis who organised a very fruitful Bavarian business delegation to Pakistan during October last year. Mr. Dittrich pointed out that Pakistan is a very important country for the Munich Trade Fair Organisation in general and the ISPO trade fair in particular. More than 160 Pakistani companies displayed their products at the ISPO trade fair this year. Mr. Dittrich further mentioned that he is planning to visit Pakistan in April together with Dr. Michael Kerkloh, CEO Munich Airport and Honorary Consul Dr. Poetis to evaluate business cooperation opportunities in the Pakistani market.
Mr. Robbert De Kock praised the Pakistani sports products and said he is very happy to work with the Pakistan Sports Goods Manufacturer & Exporters Association to contribute to the sports industry.
His Excellency Jauhar Saleem thanked the participants for making the event such an overwhelming success. Two short documentaries about ‘Emerging Pakistan’ and the sports goods industry were played at the occasion which was well received by the participants.
